Got Me Goin’ Crazy | No. 15

The last got me goin’ crazy post of 2017! Ah!

These posts have quickly become one of my favorites to write and looking at analytics, I can tell they are some of your favorites to read as well.

The last two months of the year are always a blur of activities between everything going on at work, trying to keep up with holiday content and plans, and prepping for 2018. After a wonderful Thanksgiving at home with my family, I’m anxiously looking forward to Christmas. Even just two days off from work was complete bliss – I’m used to taking off for a trip, so having a bit of time to b-r-e-a-t-h-e and play catch up was really nice. As much as I love having stuff to keep me busy, I love getting to slow down, too!

For these last two weeks of 2017, I plan on listening to a lot of Christmas music (switching things up and linking to my Christmas playlist below in case you need a few more suggestions!), drinking a lot of hot chocolate and spending time with my friends and family.

Without further ado, here’s my 15th got me goin’ crazy post:

Hello Sunshine by Laura Dave

I was scared I wouldn’t have a book to talk about this month, but two weeks ago I finally started Hello Sunshine and I am obsessed, it’s so good! Luckily the first chapter sucked me in, or else I don’t think I’d still be reading it since my schedule is insane currently. I mentioned it as a book to read in the fall in this post and several months later I am happy to report it definitely deserved a spot on that list.

Homemade Biscoff Cookie Butter Cookies

Omg. My mom made these for Thanksgiving and I started eating them as early as 9:30 a.m. They were DELICIOUS. Since I didn’t make them I can’t say firsthand that they were easy to make, but she said they were and even if they weren’t, they were good enough to be worth any hassle. I know the cookie butter craze was a few years ago, but I am still not over how good it is.

SoulScripts

Jordan Lee is one of my favorite Instagrammers to follow, YouTubers to watch and bloggers to subscribe to. She started SoulScripts after feeling a calling to build a house for the Lord and because of this, she’s built the most amazing community that empowers young women around the world to step into His purpose. She produces amazing resources that will help you dive into the Bible and understand it, as well as find amazing women to support you. Their slogan? Your brokenness is welcome here. (Tugs at my heartstrings every time!!)

Simplified Planner

Picking which planner to commit to for a whole year really stresses me out, but I’m feeling good about my decision to go with the Simplified Planner. I love the simple layout and bright colors throughout the entire planner. Emily Ley is one of my favorite authors and I really admire her work-life balance, which is a huge reason I decided to go with this planner!

Velvet Madewell Skirt

NO SURPRISE HERE BECAUSE I AM IN LOVEEEEE! This is probably my favorite item in my closet currently. I love the material, I love the color, I love the shape. Everything about it goes with everything, so if you see me wearing it in every single picture from now until springtime, that is why.

Only two and a half more weeks until 2018…let’s make ’em count, y’all!
